Bye For Now

Sadly Pure Pursuit Energy Bars has taken a back seat to the rest of my life, my career and my other passions. For now there won't be any bars being made, well except for the ones concocted in my kitchen, and I apologize for that since I know they are the best energy bars on the market today. You can always get a hold of me if you need a few though, would like to buy the recipe or business or just want to chat about playing and energizing in the great outdoors!

Pure Pursuit Is Back!!

After a few long months off from the dream that is Pure Pursuit we finally got back into the kitchen! I didn't know where I wanted to take the company, I had tested the bars at the Farmer's Market this summer and they were a hit, but I was still unsure if it's what I wanted to be doing. Anyway I took a bit of time away from Pure Pursuit and have decided that they are just too dang good to let this idea fall to the wayside. So last night we pulled up our sleeves and with the help of my amazing volunteer worker bees, blasted out a few batches! During my slight sabbatical I did find some time to design new packaging as well, and finally we have that ever important nutritional label on the back! They look great, taste great, and are ready for sale! Keep an eye out in Fort Collins, soon they'll be hitting the shelves!!

The ever important cut.... I still have some work to do to get all the bars more even, but I'm brainstorming on that front! And don't you worry, I'm making them on the big side so there's still tons of energy packed goodness in every little package!

Pure has Liftoff!!!

 

Pure Pursuit has finally made it to market! 

Although we are still tiny, myself and some helpful work bees (my mom and friends), we have a finished product that is for sale!!!  We have been selling our original flavor, Cranberry Almond Peanut, at the Larimer County Farmer's Market for the past two months down in Old Town Fort Collins, and it has been a hit!  Soon we'll be coming out with flavor number two, Blueberry Cashew.  Along with the new flavor we'll be pushing to get Pure Pursuit Energy Bars into some of the local stores here in Fort Collins.  This has been a long road, but finally we are ready to break out of the kitchen and into the wanting public's hands! 

Thanks for everyone's patience, I know this could have been achieved sooner, but life is hectic as all of you probably know, and I am happy with the organic nature of Pure's growth.  This will be something that is sustainable for me right now in my life, and is something I am very proud of.  So thanks again for everyone's support, and be sure to keep an eye out for Pure Pursuit Energy Bars in a store near you!

Team Pure Pursuit off to a strong start!  Three first time marathoners finished the Colorado Marathon here in Fort Collins over the weekend.  The day started off with a rude 3:00 am wake up call, a long bus ride up to a dark and chilly sub 30 degree start line, and a bathroom line like no other.  But as the sun rose the temps followed, and with the first few miles under our belts we were cruising.  All three of us finished with the fastest time coming in at 3:36:03.  It was an amazing day for an amazing race!  The crowds came out in force and cheered loudly, and everyone seemed to be having a fun time!

Jude and I also ran the Horsetooth Half Marathon 2 weeks ago, what a bear that was, but here is Jude rocking out and looking good!  Look at that elevation map.... Yikes....

I know I have this same video up on the right, but I felt it was important enough to post about too. As this company finds its feet and starts this journey, we are proud to be part of something bigger from day one. I don't know where this company will take us, but I do know I want to give back whenever I can along the way.  If 1% means a dollar my first year than so be it....  This is part of our passion here at Pure Pursuit, and we are proud to be part of something so great!!

Pure Pursuit Energy Bar!!!

Pure Pursuit came from a passion for adventure that I have had all my life.  As an adventure and endurance athlete I have tried and relied on just about every bar out there, and overall I've been disappointed with the energy bar industry.  I knew there was a better alternative, so I decided to pursue it!  What came from my hopes is a truly delicious, nutritious, energy packed bar.  Pure Pursuit is all natural, using the best ingredients, and gluten free!  Pure Pursuit is happy to support local industry and as much as possible, from the bar to the packaging, is all produced right here on the Front Range of Colorado!

This site will be up soon, Pure Pursuit is still in its infancy and currently as a one man show, things are a little slow, but once we are up and running I promise that will all change!  So please come back soon, and if you see a Pure Pursuit out there, go for it!!!
